Project Overview

Golden Horizon is an agrivoltaic installation across 300 hectares of working farmland, designed so that arable and grazing use continues underneath the array rather than being displaced by it.

What we provide:

  • Agrivoltaic layout and clearance design
  • Crop yield impact modelling
  • Machinery access planning
  • Dual-use lease structuring
  • Soil and moisture monitoring
  • Farmer training and handover

Our Approach
Our platform and services are designed to make eco-conscious transformation simple, scalable, and transparent.

Row spacing and mounting height were set from the farm's existing machinery envelope rather than from a standard layout, which cost some generation density and preserved the entire cropping programme. Soil moisture sensors were installed before construction to give a genuine baseline, and have since shown reduced summer evaporation in the shaded bands.

Technology Used

Golden Horizon produces electricity and food from the same hectares, and the farm's own operations were not restructured to accommodate it.

  • 95 MW alongside continued arable and grazing use
  • Crop yields within 4% of the pre-installation baseline
  • Measurable reduction in summer irrigation demand
  • A lease structure the tenant farmer helped write
