Investment Manager
About The Role
As Investment Manager you will originate, appraise and structure the renewable projects we put capital into. The role is equal parts financial analysis and commercial judgement about which developers, sites and offtake arrangements are worth backing.
Key Responsibilities
You will run transactions end to end and sit close enough to delivery to see how your assumptions performed.
- Source and screen generation and storage opportunities.
- Build project finance models including debt sizing and sensitivities.
- Lead technical, legal and environmental due diligence with advisers.
- Negotiate term sheets, offtake agreements and shareholder arrangements.
- Present recommendations to the investment committee.
- Monitor assets post-close against the case that justified them.
What We're Looking For
Someone who has closed transactions rather than only modelled them, and who is candid about the ones that did not perform. Energy market experience is valuable; intellectual honesty about risk is essential.
You should have
- Five or more years in project finance, infrastructure or energy investment.
- Fluency in project finance modelling and debt structures.
- Experience leading due diligence workstreams.
- Working knowledge of power markets and offtake structures.
